The days of summer are coming to an end,
and the start of school right around the bend.
Did I accomplish all I desired,
or was my excuse that I was just too tired?
Whichever the case, Monday's the day
when summer vacation vanishes away.
Back to the books at full steam ahead
Are all the pages of your assignment read?
Time to catch up on everyone's news,
Check out the new clothes and new hairdos.
"What did you do over the summer?"
"Coming back to school is such a bummer."
"Do I have to sit here?
My friend's across the room.
Unless they are near
There's bound to be gloom.
The teachers will go over the rules
Explain how to use some important tools.
We will begin to stretch and move,
It does take awhile to get in the groove.
In the end I have to say
That I am happy to be back today.
I really do enjoy this school,
To be anywhere else I'd be a fool.
For the most important part about this place
Is that teachers and Administrators seek God's face.
Our school is based upon God's Word
And we seek to honor the Lord.
So welcome back to 2009-10,

Hey Mr. Blikstad its Quade, how is the new school year going, hows the family, how are you? I'm at Bishop Verot right now for high school things here are amazing. I just got done with the freshman retreat. THAT WAS AWESOME. I really felt GOD during our candle light service. Well tell all the teachers I said "hi" and tell Mrs. Leatherman and Mrs. Crouch that I MISS THEM SO MUCH. Tell them to email me at qmarinell@yahho.com
